Our design for NATÜR Condominiums—a contemporary two-tower, nine-storey residential development in Courtice, Ontario—perfectly demonstrates this philosophy. Serving as the mid-rise gateway to a larger master-planned community, the project showcases how strategic collaboration can unlock high-end design through industrial innovation. To meet our client’s need for an efficient, accelerated construction schedule and cost-effective delivery, our team looked beyond traditional building methods. We collaborated closely with Stubbe’s Precast Systems to engineer an innovative, custom architectural solution: a modular precast façade system.

The core breakthrough lies in the geometry of the building’s exterior. By utilizing creative variations of a standard, double-height precast façade panel, we designed an elevation element that feels rhythmic, dynamic, and distinctly premium. These panels were meticulously engineered to align seamlessly with a continuous-path structural system. This synchronization allowed us to minimize on-site labor, maximize material efficiency, and dramatically accelerate the construction timeline—all while keeping the project highly cost-effective for JD Development Group. The result is a striking, landmark entry to the Courtice community. Natural materials and warm, tactile finishes complement the modern precast forms, ensuring the towers feel grounded in their ecological landscape.
