Hendon Park Towns, also known as Eldora Gardens, is a collection of luxury residential townhome condominiums in the heart of Toronto’s flourishing Yonge and Finch neighbourhood. Organized as seven blocks of four-storey condominium buildings above a shared underground garage, the development comprises 113 units and brings a refined, modern architecture to one of the city’s most dynamic districts. Central to the design is its relationship with the landscape: the blocks are arranged to accentuate the natural aspects of lush, thoughtfully composed community courtyards, weaving green shared space through the heart of the development and enhancing the area’s natural character. A strong street presence, achieved through hearty, tactile materials, gives the project a grounded and recognizable identity—one that reads unmistakably as a community rather than a single building. That success has carried forward, with additional phases planned throughout the city. Completed in 2016 and nominated for the 2017 Toronto Urban Design Award, Hendon Park Towns stands as a model for how luxury townhome living and considered urban design can reinforce one another.
